Wold you believe I haven't even had one. I'll be ok as long as I don't start on them. Got to lose those couple of kilos so I can pig out in Singapore.

I've been banned from making Dede's chocolate chip cookies :'( DH and DS said they just couldn't leave them alone. But these look so good that I might smuggle some out to share with friends.I have a pastry recipe somewhere which you add icing sugar, makes the dough very "short".Thanks Cookie.

Made these this Labour Day arvo.  Got phone call during butter & sugar mixing stage ... therefore egg only went in with flour & bicarb...  oooops .. they seem to have come out OK though :)  Have lots of sympathy for MasterChef contestants, if you can leave out an ingredient during the method stage WITH a recipe, then I can see how easy is it to leave out when you are winging it from memory!!!?
