Butter Chicken Indian Cookbook This is a really delicious recipe and so easy to make, the only thing i changed the second time i made it was the amount of salt, i put in half a teaspoon as i found a full teaspoon was a bit much but whatever works for you!

hi gotta agree this is a really good bread recipe. i cooked it last night to have with dinner and found leaving it to rise in the tmx was a really good idea and it didnt take to long either. i made some in a muffin tray as someone else suggested and cut off the top and filled with bolognaise for my hubbys lunch today! yum. i am going to make a loaf today with it as the texture is just like store bought bread that we are used to. isi i am impressed thanks for sharing!

hi all thanks for your replies. i have just started this week after having my 2nd baby who is 4 weeks old. i am breastfeeding so my daily points are quite high and i struggled to eat them all today. i am finding it abit daunting/hard trying to work out how many points in home cooked meals.
i to have been making bread, i use the basic bread recipe, not sure how to work out a points value for a slice of it?? gertbysea, is there an easy method to calculating points in a recipe, for example how would i calculate the points for a serve of potato and leek soup from the edc?

hi i made this today, very yummy and set beautifully. i halved the quantities as i had less pears than the recipe required, i even more than halved the sugar, as i thought it seemed like to much and it turned out beautifully. i used about 500g pears 200g sugar half tsp citric acid and half a sachet of jam setta. thanks for the recipe riv_mum
