Substitute for Hungarian paprika?
« on: March 22, 2014, 04:51:50 am »
I want to make the spicy dipping sauce from QFITT but don't have Hungarian paprika. I have regular and smoked paprika.....which of these is the best alternative?

I'd use the normal myself Tasty but if you want a smoky flavour go for the other one.

Yep - just use the regular, which is basically Hungarian paprika.
The smoky one will add a very distinctive & different flavour.
