advertising?
« on: October 14, 2008, 04:43:15 pm »
hello mm :)

just wondering if you had given any thought to what level of advertising you would be happy to see on this forum and what you consider advertising?  thought it might be worth thinking about given the way the us thread is heading lol

LOL - I keep seeing - "How I lost 35lbs" - Oprah style or whatever - hey I enjoy my food and don't need the guilt trip being flashed before me (especially when my doctor says I need to lose weight)

Don't know many people who don't have shares in Google making much out of Google ads.

What would you do with the trillions brazen?   ;) ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^

I'm just re-visiting this post since it didn't go any further.

I suggest a thread for each state where consultants can include their contact details and specify the area of the state that they can service.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

I really don't mind advertising at all. I rarely look at it. Occasionally something will catch my eye but not very often. I probably have narrow vision or something. DH has just told me I have blinkers on when it comes to the TMX. :P

Truly what I love about firefox!! Block the ads and your pages load even quicker as well as you aren't waiting for the ads to load  ;) :D
