Hi - so sorry to hear about your ankle.  6 children under 9 just adds a whole new level of pain!!!!

Welcome and do take care of yourself. Just as well DH is willing to learn. I can't think of anything more frustrating than having a new toy and not being able to play with it!!

Welcome (not that I'm not new too) How annoying to not to get to play with your new toy - i'd be crying if that was my position. But even better make dh make all the things you want to make and you just have to read them out!
Though with your young brood it must be hard to get much done at all.

I am getting extremely frustrated not being able to play with my new toy but DH has so far made:
Beef Stroganoff
Chocolate Custard
Jam and coconut slice
cheese and bacon rolls
chocolate milkshakes
Butter

hmmm... seems like I need to get him to try some more mains! LOL!

while i can appreciate that it is frustrating its great that your husband is enthusiastic atm. appreciate it - most times its shortlived once you have made a recovery and able to cook again  perhaps try and string the injury on a bit longer until someone catches on
