What have you been doing today?

Well done Judy.
Yesterday DD took me to a Xmas craft market. It was great fun. I discovered a volunteer run product , co- op shop. I think I will join. Every thing is in bulk, organic where possible, Australian and local when available.
There was a Father Xmas which was a take your own photo. No charge. Lots of hand made cards and earrings. A Men’s Shed display and a tool library.

Lovely catching up with all your news, wonderful parties, outings and more.
Just done my last shift till 22nd. Bitterly cold here feels like -5. Warming slightly and snow forecast. The Lake District has had 12” snow today.
I’m on holiday from Monday, packing and final sorting tomorrow.
Will update you all on return.
Here’s hoping the planes fly on time and all goes well.

We have had our fibre to the premises all connected. NBN were brilliant but Telstra left a lot to be desired. They even changed our phone number. I THINK it has all been sorted now.

I completely cleared out one of the small sheds today after giving stuff away earlier. Cleaned the Weber Q for SIL, squirted down Mum’s walker, shower chair etc (keeping them in case anyone needs them down the track, me included), swept the garage and shed floor and put back other things which need to be kept ie spare roof tiles and current colour of part tins of paint. Gurneyed under the pergola then washed the car before knocking off for the day. 1 shed down, 1 to go then I’ll tackle the garage.

We ended up with our phone numbers changed as well, Cookie, it was a real nuisance.  They couldn't explain sufficiently why they changed our numbers, fortunately we got our business numbers back, but had to change our personal number.

Just catching up and thanking everyone for your kind messages about DD party . Yes we all had a great time and lots of great feed back .
Have a podiatrist appointment this morning for my never going away wart or whatever on the edge of my heal . It’s now painful and after various treatments , dry ice ?, needling and fish oil application . I’m not sure what is next . But on a fun note DD and I went a a big walk and stopped at a wine bar for a Chardonnay and nibble , then more walking . Home for salads for dinner . Nice to do something different. DD had no winter this year and a very hot summer ( studying in Italy) now DD is cold a lot of the time .!

Well done Judy. I gave my mums wheelchair to the palliative care centre as the kids said that by the time I need one there will be a better model.
At home mostly today. great.

Judy you have done an awesome job. I haven't done much for the last several days as I've had a horrid toothache. I managed to get into the dentist yesterday (after ringing every morning for a few days) and the dentist has given me some anti biotics to try and clear up the infection. I guess it will take a few days for the to kick in. I have another appointment with my regular dentist next Wednesday.

Thanks Cookie. Toothaches are the worst pain, I don’t know how you’ve coped these past few days. I hope the antibiotics kick in very quickly.

GS fixed my lights to automatically turn on when I come home at night.  I’m going to make some more KFC spice mix as he enjoyed the chicken I cooked last night. I added the spice to both the egg flour and milk mix and also the bread crumbs.
