Yesterday DS left to go catch up with friends and today off back to Uni NSW , miss him already . Today went to a local gallery opening exhibition, was great . Too too windy to do anything. Never complain about the wind ,but I’m over it now . It’s so so noisy and I’ve resorted to pain killers for the headaches… maybe my sinuses are playing up I think .

It’s been extremely windy but DH decided to do a drive trip ! We ended up at Peterborourgh wow the most incredible enormous waves I have ever seen . The best .

If I could post the photos of yesterday waves 🌊 you would be amazed . Last night was super windy and stormy. About to check the ewes and lambs , no doubt carnage. All I would like to do is get to the shops , but with this crazy weather I’m hesitant.

Today will be busy Yoga ,lunch ,shopping and hopefully make a cake . Write a book review for tomorrows bookclub , eek . Also washing and find some of my spring clothes. Yet it was freezing yesterday . Yesterday we did a day of checking and feeding out to the ewes and lambs ! On lot weee good but due to the bad weather many lost , that’s to be expected with twins and triplets . It’s never great in these weather conditions but the bonus is seeing the many lambs playing and jumping up in the air . Now I better start the crazy next few days .. not sure we’re I’ll find the energy. I’ve been so tired for lack of sleep especially with a week of constant wind and the noise . Sounds silly but it truly has never been like this for so long . This would be the first morning I can hear the birds tweeting and no wind yet .

Stay safe everyone. Our very windy times were mainly at night, so I managed to sleep through a lot of it.
I read today that motorhomes rock around in the wind a lot. I’m not looking forward to that. I’ll have to make sure that I always have some Port on hand. It’s very high so it won’t be fun. I’ll have to be brave. 😀😀😀

Cookie, it may be possible to park where you will be not so vulnerable to wind. Sheltered by a building. I thought the cover for my new BBQ would have blown off during the nearly 100 k winds, but realised that the house next door provided some protection. Keep the port handy, just in case.
Probus monthly meeting today.
Was able to spend some time in garden yesterday.

An excellent idea Chookie. I read that it’s good to point the motorhome into the wind too. Like a boat!

I did my grocery shopping today. Just arrived home when it poured.

The weather is so cranky at the moment, isn't it.  You don't know how to plan ahead - one day it is cold, wet and windy with hail, the next day it is warm, then it is windy, then it is back to wet and miserable again ... you just cannot win!

I must agree Marina. We had 25° here earlier in the week. Today it’s freezing  (13° at 4pm) and has been raining, hail and a storm.

Gym, playing with new BBQ/ AF. Experimenting with new Bread recipe. Added LSA to sprouted flour. Making Bread sticks and rolls.

DIL came in again today to do some washing and have a shower as they are still without power.
