We went to the dentist this morning. I suggested to DH that we go to the Suzuki dealers to see what the delay was on a new Suzuki for towing behind the motorhome. We sort of bought one.
They had exactly what we wanted so bought it. It should be licensed etc ready for me by the end of the week. DH spent the afternoon polishing and detailing mt lovely red terror as it will be going.

Cookie, you will be well set up now.
Today, visitor for lunch and cleaner this afternoon.
Yesterday, took neighbours kids to the movies and had McDonald’s on the way. They messed up our order and gave us double of what we paid for. I had my annual Big Mac. It was awful, so won’t be having that again. We played Monopoly in the afternoon. Then visitors for Dinner.

Today was the day to pick up the Suzuki. It’s automatic so I have to remember not to try putting the clutch in. I plan to go and sit in it and play tomorrow. It’s not as smooth as my Hilux was. It has more gadgets but not a lot as it’s not a special car. It has lane departure and a few other things I will soon discover. It’s so tiny after the Hilux.

Weather a bit warmer today. About time. I’ve got neighbours boys again today and we are cooking. Then swimming and tennis.
Yesterday I bought 3 new tops.

What an exciting and busy time you have all had the past couple of days.
DH and I have just come back from 1 week in Italy ... well, 4 days in Italy, the rest of the time was spent travelling there and back. Had a wonderful time in Cremona, such a beautiful wee town - DH had meetings and we also took in a trade fair there. Spent one night in Milan - after the peace and quiet of Cremona Milan was over-powering - too many people and too many vehicles (in Cremona we could simply walk down the middle of the road as there was very little traffic). Had a fantastic apartment there and found a little family owned bakery up the road where we went each day for our foccaia breakfast. All really nice people. Now it is back to reality.

Oh my gosh we had a storm cell at the beach that was massive and DB and I were maniacs trying to fix the drains and pathway due to it getting in ! But it was so hard and fast that we couldn’t keep the water away . I had my work boots on water was coming over the top . Looked like a drowned rat after, even though I had a very good white waterproof coat on !! Had to have a shower and even wash my hair . My shoulders spasmed and all night , from using the large outdoor broom to push the water away. A few other things happened too . The sun is out this morning!!

At home day yesterday. Cleaned all downstairs windows. Found 1/2 vinegar and water the best. Prepared some garden beds for Spring planting. A bit slow in coming, frost last night.. Cleaned the oven. Reduced chicken stock.
