Sounds like you need to have your legs stretched cookie, I’d go with you if there was such a place. Your test run was needed to sort things out, I imagine the manual is huge for such a large vehicle, mine for a tiny Corolla is very thick and I never did read it. I just use it for troubleshooting. Whilst DD1 was in the car with me on a hot day when they were last over she noticed the air wasn’t coming out of a couple of the outlets. She fiddled around with things and suddenly we felt the cold air on our faces, she couldn’t believe I had never noticed the problem and therefore didn’t realise I had the settings incorrect.

Today I slightly altered some lovely size 8 formal outfits for our cruise that no longer fit DD2 then put new elastic in 5 pairs of pants of mine. I now have way too many outfits to choose from.

Will they be doing your solar panels soon Chookie?

Cookie, I’ll join you and Judy to have my legs stretched. Good idea to have steps attached.
Signed off on Solar Panels yesterday. Will take 2 to 3 weeks. Much simpler process from last time at Invermay. They will need a Cherry picker to get on the roof.
Today, my antique cast iron table and chairs will be delivered. They have been powder coated. Can now live outside without rusting.

I'll join you ladies as I'm another one that needs to have their legs stretched.  Maybe we could get a bulk discount :D :D
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Bound to Margaret LOL.
Today I had a hair cut then decided to try out a henna eyebrow makeover with the lass that’s just started at the salon. Just a test run with a new colour she’s got in to see what I thought of it before getting it done again for the cruise. She halved the cost this time and yes I will have it done again. Now I’m waiting for a nail technician to join the staff but that won’t be until after Christmas. My local salon is becoming a one-stop beauty salon.

Leg stretching would be brilliant. I only need to grow a couple of inches to be ok. The trouble is I grow sideways and not up. 😀😀😀
Judy you will be the best dressed lady on the cruise.
I had my hair cut today and did the grocery shopping.

Judy, where is your cruise off to?  I think I missed all the excitement when we were away and would love to hear more.

Ironing and tidying with a Nanna nap for extras.

Had farewell drinks for one of our staff - she's off to sail to Antarctica in a tall ship!!!  We are hoping that not only will be safe and have a wonderful adventure but that she will return to us later in the year - or next year.

I’m now doing all my washing on a Saturday. I manage to get it all done and packed away. Also a little gardening. I am harvesting at the moment, silverbeet, celery, snow peas, Chinese veggies, wasabi greens, parsley , chives and rhubarb. All in raised garden beds and pots.

That's a very productive garden, Chookie.  It's wonderful to be able to harvest your own produce.

Marina, it’s so small that I’m amazed that I can produce so much. I also have flowers, which I love. Not many birds though.
DD has just returned from Thursday Island and will visit today. Cooking her some takeaway.

Having seen Chookie’s garden yes it is very small but she has made excellent use of the available  area. Chookie without a veggie garden would not be a happy chappy!

Thanks Judy. Something very basic in my needing to grow stuff. Love my little flowers that sit on the end of my kitchen bench. My lovely gardener next door is giving me some experimental tomato seedlings to plant. She work at a farm where they develop different varieties of veggies. Last year  it was tomato and capsicum seedlings.

Your mention of tomatoes, Chookie ... I saved some tomato seeds last year and popped them into seed raising mix 2 weeks ago - much to my astonishment I now have 30 tiny seedlings popping up - there are several showing up every day just now.   I hope that enough will be old enough to be transferred into a larger pot either next week or the week after.  There are way more than we need, so I will try succession planting - try to hold back some for a further couple of weeks.
