Congratulations, Mab.  What wonderful news.

Yet another visit to the podiatrist.  He is still trying to figure out what is wrong with my foot (the one that I had the big operation on in May) - it is turning into a real saga.

Congratulations to the family Margaret, it sounds like there are a number of male grand-children - any girls?

What sort of problem is that foot giving you Marina?

I’ve got a friend of my DF coming to install a watering system out the front tomorrow so my DF came around to do some preparatory work this morning. I’d done some the day before which took me well over an hour but he did an area as much as mine in just 15 minutes!

The podiatrist is having trouble diagnosing it because I cannot have an MRI.  He initially suspected it was a stress injury, then he wasn't so sure about that and we were discussing the possibility it may be bursitis (I am still not totally sure exactly what that is), but I am off for another Xray tomorrow as he has gone back to suspecting the possibility of a stress injury after starting to walk around again after I got out of my moonboot.  Over c. 100 meters it becomes terribly painful when I walk and restricts my mobility so much; it is very frustrating.

I can imagine it is very frustrating Marina, you were out of action for a long time after that op. Now you don’t know what is ahead of you to fix the problem. I hope they can come up with a simple fix.

Congratulations Mab, how lovely.
Marina, that is painful and annoying. Feet are difficult. GS battled for months with a sore foot. Finally saw a specialist in Melbourne. He had been given different advice from a physio and podiatrist.
Judy good idea to set up a watering system. I’m thinking of doing same.
Put a new recipe on my Blog. It was hard to get down in a written form as the recipe is very flexible. I have made several versions, all delicious. Think it would make nice small Christmas gifts.

New shopping method, only what I can carry in small cloth bag.
Got scammed again. But picked it up this time. Spent morning at bank while they tried to put new digital card on phone . Think cash easier.

Scammers are horrible.  Regardless of the outcome, they can cause so many problems.  Even if you catch on in time, you often have to get a new credit card ... then you find our how many direct debits / subscriptions you have linked to your credit card and have to contact all the suppliers to update your details.  I recently went through this and several of the companies now make it extremely difficult, if not nigh on impossible, to change your card details because it is all automated.

I too much prefer cash - if my wallet is empty then I know I have probably over-spent and have to wait until my next visit to the bank.  It is a good way to ensure you don't go over your budget.

Marina, I really feel for you.
We are on a mini holiday. Out of coverage yesterday and today hasn’t mean much better.
Take care everyone.

We arrived home yesterday. It was a short but lovely break. DH is still fixing little things to suit us, but overall it seems less problems with the motorhome to set up etc.
i did a bit of grocery shopping this morning.
