We’re missing out on all that rain down here so today, after checking the radar map to make sure there was none coming, I’ve had to water. It’s disappointing to see the map and what everyone else is getting. I’ve cleaned the range hood and bathroom exhaust fans, a few more spring cleaning jobs out of the way. I’m so busy these days that it’s taking me a lot longer than usual to get everything ticked off my list.
Everyone our age seems to be having busy lives, no boredom for us is there ladies!
K Atie you haven’t learnt to say no yet have you? So nice of you to do extra jobs to help people out but sometimes we need to put our feet up and rest.

Judy you’re so right but , it was DH job to do the nativity set up but with harvest he was to busy and bonus was I did it with a very close friend. Today one of our cats had gone missing for two nights she came home when I went out in the rain and called her all over the place . Showers all day .

Well adventures seem to roll in here . We met up with DD at airport late last night . Plan was to collect her car and return to farm ! DS DH shared the driving to airport. Apparently the parking is ticketless just tap your card !!! Alarm bells for me as DD was not going to be tapping her card out it would be me ! Short version, spoke to the ticket machine and all good just speak to the people at boom gates when going ! So said our goodbyes to DD and her friends off on an adventure to Japan ! So lucky. Meanwhile I’m struggling to see how I’m going to get out driving DD car . They were fine all I did say was using a different card ! And they processed it then . How to steal a car so so easy . Same car different people inside (DS was with me ) . We headed home . Slight Blum DH hit a kangaroo, bonus it was not me ! also just a lot of damage to the lower bumper ! There was a semi behind him and another car that the roo went flying towards. So terribly lucky . We all pulled up at the service station and checked it out . 1.30 am home and at 2am DD was flying over Cameron’s corner ! Flight tracker amazing .

What a night K Atie. Kangaroos just appear out of nowhere don't they. I can never understand how they have not developed a natural instinct to avoid moving vehicles - just about every other animal has adapted, but the kangaroos simply haven't.
We have a dangerous new shop just opened around the corner of our shop - Gewurshaus (I hope I have spelled that correctly). They make all sorts of spice / herb / tea blends of the highest quality. I have been in there just about every day this week - Xmas gifts have been taken care of now - or else the ingredients for home made gifts have all been purchased.

Marina that shop is deadly. I visited it long ago when I was in Melbourne. I sometimes put in an order to them.
WE had a car coffee morning today and one yesterday.

Apart the one in Prahran here in Melbourne, I don't know where else the shop The Essential Ingredient is located. But it is a terrific shop for kitchen stuff - I heard just last night that they are closing down. So sad. They had terrific ingredients, cookware, books, etc.

That spice shop is also in Lygon St. in fact it was the first . I also love it. Bought the Australian spices there that I used in the scones I made. They had a recipe card with the spice.
The Essential Ingredient always carried ingredients that were difficult to buy anywhere else. You could also buy 3 kilo bags of Lindt chocolate. I would buy 2 bags. Milk for RAL and Dark for me. They also had a special section for Spanish stuff. But best of all were the Stainless steel baking dishes. Last time there I bought some for family and several for my self.

Sad news about The Essential Ingredient. I had bought a few things from them when I was in Melbourne.
KAtie I hope you feel better soon.
I had my 6 month skin check. Nothing to be cut out which is lovely but my neck, back and face have had a lot of burn offs. I’m always amazed at how much the first half dozen sting, then you seem to become used to it for the next 20 or so. 😀😀😀
