I paid for my thermomix on the 3rd too. I had an email from thermomix quite quickly after saying the same as Chookie’s was. So fingers crossed.
We attended 2 birthday parties today. There was 68 years between the birthday people.

Cookie, my first reaction was to think that not too many had picked up the offer.
It’s cold today, so indoor jobs. Clean out another freezer.?

I noticed that thermomix were still advertising it Chookie and I thought the initial response wasn't as good as they hoped. It is a lot of money for some people to have readily available, I guess. My brother recently bought a 6 after having a 31 for years. He has said he will definitely be getting a 7, but not immediately.

This morning we went to the dentist for our 6 monthly visit. I have to have some front filling replaced, not sure why! They are only about 64 years old. I remember having them done when we were on holidays in Bunbury when I was about 12. :) :) :) :)

Cookie, there is quite a good review by Bec on u tube. After paying I wondered if I had done the right thing. However, I think there are enough difference to justify the expense. I think you need to look at how you cook and if the changes will support this. My most concern is with the computer and AI technology.
Probus meeting this morning. Friend for lunch and making buns. Minding neighbours boys in the afternoon.

I went back to the GP for my test results. Although my liver is being naughty it’s working ok. All other results were ok, except for Lipase. Apparently this tells you how your pancreas is going. Mine is being very naughty. I have to see a specialist, but I couldn’t get through to them today. If I can’t get them tomorrow I think I will try one that DD has been told about.
We will see what happens. I feel pretty good, so that is the important thing.

I'm with  you Cookie, I think I have a few naughty bits and pieces as well.  Hope all goes well with your specialists' visits.

Cookie, of all the little bits of my insides, the Pancreas is the one that has been easiest to deal with. My Pancreas doesn’t produce enough enzymes. I take 2 pills with each meal and all is ok. Recently I was a bit naughty and was missing my lunch dose. This usually happened when out for lunch. I now set an alarm on my phone.
Today my entertainment for the week. A zoom group meeting with a dietitian. Then lunch out and op Shop visits with Probus.

Managed a very busy day but fitted in visit to my bone Dr specialist ! As expected my levels were raised .. this is for my Osteo so I have to do a full done density and bloods again in 3 months . Lucky that it’s not higher enough to have to have another infusion ( calcium ) . Actually it’s not calcium but whatever it is it helps put back the calcium into my bones . Yesterday I caught up with my quilting sewing group , so nice . Home to feed DS who returned on the weekend. My arm is still bad and my knee is playing up and my hip hurts . So my right side is not great .. honestly how ridiculous is that .

We are a bunch of crocks. 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀 I guess most of us are well over 21.

I managed to get in touch with the specialist and I have an endoscopy scheduled for Tuesday afternoon. After that I guess we will see about the pancreas. DH is having a tooth out Monday afternoon so we will be a fine pair. 😀😀😀

I did my grocery shopping this afternoon.

O M G , I hate Dr appointments. Every 6 months they do me over.  I keep busy. This is the best medicine. However I’m very great full for the care that I get.
Water for toilets and garden comes from the large tank beside the house. No rain for weeks so no water in tank. Yesterday I couldn’t flush toilet. With difficulty I used the hose to dribble water into tank. I rang the builder and he is sending out a plumber today. It should automatically switch over to mains.
I’ll cook buns while I wait. I’m swapping buns for a beanie knitted by the Probus craft group.

Chookie and cookie you both must be getting excited re your Tm7s ! Rumour seems to be there is going to be something else to go on the base as 6 points , meaning one spare . Also there is a mic in the unit . I cannot think what would be extra . Today going to do a small shop and visit local gallery new exhibition. Boys are busy pulling out fence posts while fencing contractors putting up new fences . Part of the fire rebuild .

Yes KAtie I'm getting quite excited. I was checking the bank details this morning and I noticed that the payment for the thermomix has gone through. Last time I looked it was pending.

My payment for 7 went through the following day.
My consultant said she would help me understand all the programs. She is very good with the technology.

Hi everyone, back from my latest holiday and finally found time to read all these posts. There’s always so much to do after a holiday, the garden was kept alive by a friend but there was still plenty to do out there. We were keeping up with Adelaide temperatures on Sky News in our cabin so knew there had been no rain where I live and temps had often been in the low 30’s.

It was interesting to see what you’d all been doing and cookie, I was thinking exactly what you said about being old crocks 😁. We came home with no ailments at all, a wonderful trip with perfect weather and lots of lazing around the pool or enjoying our private balcony.

Welcome back,Judy, sounds like you had wonderfully restful and idyllic time while you were away.

I did a load of clothes shopping for our upcoming holiday - well, it seemed like a lot as I was in David Jones for 1 1/2 hours and was assisted by a lovely man selecting various items for me and trying them on (me trying them on, not him!) - in the end I came away with nothing but I then wandered into Myers and did manage to buy one pair of trousers so not a total loss.  Then on to JB HiFi to get a power bank for all the necessary electronic devices we now have to travel with.  Then back to Myers as I had forgotten underwear!  Back home for a break then on to Ikea to finalise our new wardrobe and had a very frustrating time arranging when we would pick it up as they do not hold items.  I thought it would be a straightforward arrangement but it became complicated.  I understand why the cannot hold anything for  you - can you imagine if someone came in ordering beds, wardrobes, tables, chairs, etc. ... it would be a nightmare for Ikea to pick and store everything for any length of time.  Anyway, we eventually got that sorted out and I headed back home again totally shattered!
