Nikkit, could you please congratulate Miss 10 on her assembly speech and DH for eating the banana for me?

I'm happy tonight as I got the timing just right and managed to catch the early train home from work, meaning I'll get home about 15 minutes earlier than usual.

Not much I know, but I leave home in the morning just before 7am & usually don't get home until 6.20pm, so I love those 15 minutes!

Wow Katie, thats a long day! I can understand why you love those 15 minutes

Opened a cupboard tonight and out popped a cat (oh that's where he went )
That put a smile on my face lol. Not sure how long he was in there for

Amy,  love this .  Sat in bed this morning and smiled all the way through. 

Went out side our cabin and watched a mummy kangaroo feeding and then a joey poke his head out of her pouch.

Judy,  you may not get a cuppa in bed,  but I have seen Geoff smile while he has been watching you.  This is worth 100 cups of tea.

I have been smiling all the way through reading this, and laughing at dede's "cat in the cupboard".

I guess I started smiling this morning remembering a great demo I had last night where I sold my first TMX for June! It's been a rather dry month....

Then, after that, I was happy when I finished cleaning my workshop which has had a ceiling replaced and there was filth and grime over everything.

Generally, I'm a very happy person. Really grateful for my DH, how hard he works and what we've achieved over the years. I married a shearer and am now a farmer's wife!

I was introduced to a woman last night and the first thing she said to me was, "are you _____'s daughter?"
I said yes.
She said "I went to school with her."
A bloke who was standing with us said "does Amy look a bit like her then?"
The woman said "yeah, just a little bit...." (with a sarcastic smile on her face)

This sort of thing happens to me all the time and it still makes me smile every time. People who don't even know me figure out who I am because I look so much like my mum. Our doctor even used to joke that we look like twins

My DD (aged 7) made me smile yesterday in the car when she told me that she knew who she was going to marry! I said, 'but you might not have met the person you're going to marry yet'. Her response, 'well I know who I'm going to marry from my childhood, it's (boy from her class), but not from my grown-up-hood, I don't know that yet'. Hmmmm wonder how many marriages she's planning?

Today having the electrician replace the kitchen light (which we have been without for 2 weeks!) made me smile, as well as gas bill that is half the amount that it was same time last year.

Finishing the health and safety assessment today after 3 long days in the office. Yeah!

DD accidentally being interviewed for a trainee position.. Yeah! Even if it's. It the right one it is a confidence giving boost.
