Vegan Board
« on: December 04, 2009, 04:45:21 pm »
Hi all. I have just created a Vegan Board. It is a child board of the Vegetarian Board: http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?board=49.0

When we get enough recipes, I'll change it into a Main Board.

Thanks to the members who suggested this.

Have a great weekend

Admin :-)

Yes please, something more broken up would be great.  Do recipes then get moved to their new home?  But I guess that would destroy all the links in peoples posts.

I've also been wondering whether mains could be separated into chicken, beef, fish.........I often need a specific meat recipe so this would be super.

links should stay the same cathy as they go to individual posts without worrying about which forum they're in :)

perhaps a main forum of baking and then sub forums of cakes, biscuits & cookies, slices & bars OR a main forum of sweets and then desserts etc could move under there too?

Gosh, I'm getting muddled. But these are good ideas. PLEASE if I need to do something someone tell me and then tell me how.

Ah Cookie... it's ok!  We all had to learn sometime!  ;) :-*

I'm sure someone will explain exactly how you do these things Cookie1 - then you will say how easy it was.  You and I have both come on quite a bit from our earlier posting days so it is never too late to learn.  8) 8)

You are right Judy. I can do lots of things now that I couldn't do before. I even got a book from the library to help me set up a spreadsheet for the car club finances. The previous treasurer had done one but I couldn't really follow it. By doing my own I can understand it properly.

Well, it's unlikely that I'll be visiting the Vegan forum, but that's OK.

I would love the forum sections to be broken up a bit too. Perhaps use a complete recipe book to see the different topics and how they're organised.

A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Well I think there are JUST so many fantastic recipes on here, that get easily lost as weekly we have hundreds of posts to get through! Its amaaazing! I think the posting of reviews of the recipes helps, as if I have missed something, someone else tries it, writes the review and then I actually SEE the missed recipe! ;D ;D ;D Would be great if something could be done to organise ALL the fab recipes on here!
