Is this the first time you’ve replaced your blades Margaret?

Yes Judy this is the first time I have replaced them,  I'm not sure how often you should replace them.  My machine is about 11 years old.

Marina, I cooked them at 160 deg in a fan forced oven for about 1 1/4 hours.  The little ones I took out at 20 mins.

That's pretty good Mab. My 31 is 13 years old and I have replaced the blades once. The 5 is about 6 years old and I have replaced the blades once. They sheared off on the 5.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

It looks like the TM31 is the winner here girls.  They just keep on keeping on.  My blades have only been replaced once in 12 years.

I only replaced my 31 blades once too !! It’s does not get as much use as TM5 now but it’s a work horse that for sure .

I've never had to replace the blades on the 31 either but I did use 2 bowls so I guess that would have lessened any impact.  My other 2 machines are bombing along so far.  :D

I haven't created the final step of my puff pastry yet. I will do that a little later. I rolled the pastry out last night so all I have to do today is put the filling in. The pastry was lovely to work with. I probably ended up giving it about 8 rolls out. I always though you had to roll it out to a length of about 60cm. But watching Tenina's video she only did it about 30cm. I managed to give it about 2 rolls each time I had it out of the fridge.

I’m really pleased with my puff pastry creation. I made a few errors but I won’t next time. The pastry is easy to work with and puffed well. The flavour of the filling is excellent.

Cookie, that looks tasty.  As Judy said it looks like a lot of work.

A friend gave me a huge bunch of rhubarb so have cooked that with some orange today.

I will admit that the recipe is extremely easy. You make the pastry and that sits in the fridge. Then you roll half out to a large circle. Blitz the spinach, parmesan and fetta together and spread it on. Place the other circle of pastry over it and make cuts all round. Not quite to the centre, then twist. It is really quick and very tasty.
I plan to make an apple pie and maybe some jam tarts later this afternoon. It's warm again. About 35 I think but very stormy.

That does look good Cookie, so well done.  I might give it a try when I have one of those quiet days where I don't have to do anything else.  I would love to taste home made puff.  :D
