I made a Classic loaf today.

It sounds like a nice day for the boys Chookie. Do they cook at home at all?
Judy the older one who is 12- cooks at home. Brought me in some Teriaki chicken last week that he had cooked.
The donuts were good. They went to a great deal of trouble to decorate the carrot cake. It looked hideous but they thought it looked good.
I made a loaf of Potato bread in bread machine yesterday.
Eating leftover today.

A slightly over cooked quiche.  I forgot it was in the oven  :-)) :-[
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Made chicken stock yesterday with 2 Costco roast chicken carcasses from my freezer (courtesy of son-in-law) so will be making egg drop soup tonight. Slowly but surely getting through my freezer stock which is taking the easy way out at the moment because I haven’t felt like cooking much since our cruise.

Well those muffins were gobbled up . At shearing time I’ll have to double my batches. Maybe DS DD ate them all .

More sweet Chilly sauce. I have 2 recipes. One tomato based and one that has sultanas in it. I like the look and milder taste of the tomato one , but the other one sure has a kick.

DH made a special loaf of bread today for a friend and it failed spectacularly - DH was upset, this had never happened before and he has been baking bread for years - it sort of looked like it had exploded (possibly there was a big air pocket somewhere inside ... goodness knows).  Fortunately he had another loaf in the oven, so all is not lost!
