I agree with the no chocolate Hot Cross Buns Chookie. The only changes I will make is no glaze and no crosses. Ionlyput the crosses on when it’s Easter. I see the shops have all sorts of Hot Cross Buns.

I love traditional hot cross buns, but, from what I have read, it seems that the major supermarkets are coming up with all sorts of odd mixture options each year, I guess it is to out do or get an 'edge' on their competitors.  There's nothing wrong with traditional ... just leave them alone.

I bought a large fillet of Barramundi. I used RTE method of mixing egg milk and flour together to coat the fish before crumbs. Instead I used yogurt a little water and flour. Then panko crumbs. Excellent. I sprayed the fish with oil before grilling in my Ninja.

A chicken pasta dish using up left overs from the fridge and freezer.  Pea and vegetable soup.

The scrolls made from the Hot X Bun mixture were a great success. Will make them again.

The last few days DGF and I have been cooking one day Tomato kasoundi ! We did this by hand and used good old food processor to mince a very large amount of garlic and fresh ginger . There is a recipe the same ( a lot smaller amount) on Cookidoo . Yesterday we made Tomarto ketchup . I took my TMX there and we made two batches .. finally all given tomatoes to DGF are used up .

Katie, that is a very big cooking day.
Made veggie soup in TMX. Added leftover garlic sauce and tabouli. Can recommend using leftovers this way.

Yesterday I joined a zoom session with Collette Mitegra. I made her bread and berry jam, but not the butter. I was amazed at some of the questions she was asked re the thermomix.  She was very  patient. The bread was very tasty.
