I’m sure they will love it Chookie. Our biscuit barrel is empty and there are no baked goods in the freezer.  I will have to rectify that tomorrow.

Probably.but AF best for small batches. 16 Hot X Buns best in oven. You would have to do 4 lots in AF. Not economical.
Yesterday the cabinet maker who made a cabinet that I designed for the kitchen, came to adjust a drawer that wasn’t closing properly. As payment he said Hot X Buns, please.

Salmon Mornay.  A selection of vegetables that I have pureed for myself and put in the fridge.

Made a very different loaf of savoury bread today. Plain bread flour, rolled oats, walnuts, garlic, fresh basil, dried oregano, olive oil , milk and yeast. The recipe said 1/2 teaspoon of yeast. I added 2 teaspoons. This was correct.

Bread sticks for garlic bread. Cooking a Spanish Chicken rice dish I saw recently. The GC are coming for dinner tomorrow and I will be able to reheat.
Prep for Hot X Buns to make early tomorrow.
Found a lot of frozen strawberries when I cleaned out the freezer. Made Strawberry jam.

Felt like soup today but had nothing "soupish" in the house so invented peanut butter and cannellini bean soup - not too bad

Mab, sounds interesting. I was thinking of you and your soups. I buy beef bones from the local butcher. Boil them for 4 hours. Strain through very fine cloth. Makes a nice jelly , which I’ve recently read, is very nutritious.

Made forgotten biscuits! With cardamom pistachios and chocolate.. like a meringue . A batch of roast chicken rissoles as sausage rolls .
