Steak with potato casserole & steamed greens for the men.  Pureed casserole and veggies for me.  Stewed apple and yogurt for dessert.

Was this prepared in your new Motorhome?
Steak, cold slaw and bean salad. I’m changing over to glass containers . Getting rid of the plastic ones. The salads keep very well in the containers in the fridge. They have a button on the top that when pressed seals them.

I love mashed root veges, Judy, but  I never thought of putting a poached egg on top of them.  Thanks for the inspiration. I must try it.

I often have this for dinner except my veggies have to be pureed and the egg mashed.  It doesn't look very nice but tastes fine.

Taste and texture for us is the main thing Margaret. I haven’t been eating enough veg so this meal  solves that problem when I have no idea what to have. Yes, sharing our meal ideas can be quite useful, I’ve often googled some of those you do MarinaI especially when cooking for DD. Try the egg,I think it really makes the meal.

That’s certainly an easy recipe Marina, what’s it like cold?

Today I made the base for my Chicken and leek pie with filo topping https://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=6719.msg88829#msg88829 and will do the topping to take to a friend's place tomorrow. He cannot have spinach so I added a couple of individual packets of green ‘steam fresh’ veggies. For myself I kept back a small ramekin of the pie mixture, mixed it with a cup of Sustagen then heated it up. It was delicious, I must have more meals like this.
