Well didn’t have that. Neighbours invited me in for a Birthday dinner. Cake and all. Feel spoilt.

Chookie what a nice surprise.
Catching up on the other nights dinner . Skinnymixers meal :- Bang bang whole butterflied chicken with a yummy hot sauce . Garlic rice ( a bit too garlicky for me ) then Japanese dressing on sliced carrots and balanced beans . Sauce not that hot as I use sweet chilli sauce instead of the hot sauce starting with S . I also made the mayonnaise as the base of the sauce .

I crumbed some Flake to have with minted potatoes, carrots & asparagus.

I enjoyed SM Garlic rice as I love lots of garlic.
We are sick of the hot weather so had take away fish and chips.

Last night had dinner at Royce Hotel with family. There were 10 of us. We covered nearly everything on the Menu. I don’t think there were any unacceptable dishes. It’s nice to be served such well cooked and beautifully presented food. I had Lobster and it was a whole tail of a large lobster. It was the best that I have had at a restaurant. It was slow cooked poached.

Your meal at the hotel sounds lovely Chookie.
We had. Skinnymixer meal tonight. My brother loves her meals but there is something that about them that I either mess up or ???

Lamb cutlets with potato mash, broccolini & baby carrots.  Cheesy cauli/broccoli soup for me.

Beef rissoles with potato mash and mixed vegetables.  I have pureed a rissole with gravy and will puree the vegetables.  It's back to baby food for me.

I guess it’s whatever agrees with you Margaret. Take care.

Mab, plenty of gravy and it will taste like the real meal.
Chicken breast some way. Possibly stuffed with cheese and spinach. Steamed veggies.
