is it possible for you to insist that everyone who posts a recipe they got from elsewhere posts a link to the original source? i've just found two of my recipes (and i bet there's more) without any credit to me for my conversion whatsoever. as far as i was aware that is a big cyber no-no.

I'd really appreciate it if anyone who posts one of my recipes posts a link to my blog or the thermomix magic block just in acknowledgement of the source.

thanks

I think that the proforma for recipes should include a header " ORIGIN OF RECIPE"  and indicate that the recipe has either come from somebody's own mind, or adapted from somewhere, or copied - a give a URL link.

Yeah, I am with you sister, it has given me an unpleasant feeling...credit is always appreciated and I hope the forum will fix this quickly! Some contributers are obviously cutting and pasting other stuff and claiming it as their own. (Even my typos are in there too!)

Hope you've cooled down Tenina, (working in the Steam Oven can do that  ;) )  - hopefully peolpe will continue to contribute - even if it is just to link to recipes on sites that they have seen with great recipes or ideas.

We need all the support and assistance we can get.

I have had some very nice correspondance with a truly contrite forum user...so yes, all is good. I think I was just a bit taken aback and it was my first experience with that sort of thing...my husband told me to remember that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery...so I went with that! hahahaha ;D

Do the other Karens know about this forum?  Has Karen L been finding steaming recipes?

How about adding "Thermomix" and "Varoma" in the Spell Checker's dictionary?

Would it be possible to add some kind of "bookmark" facilitiy on the forum?  That way I'd be able to flag up my favourite recipes on the forum and wouldn't have to keep printing recipes!
